About the Job

As a Quality Control Officer, you will help define and carry out appropriate tests and inspections to confirm new software applications compliance with quality standards. In this capacity, the incumbent creates quality control plans, participates in, and oversees the conducting of software testing, and acts on findings by taking the needed corrective actions and creation of necessary quality controls.

 

A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or any related field along with 6 years or more of demonstrable experience is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review the quality of all factors involved in production.

• Lists and identify descriptions of unacceptable product defects.

• Test the products to uncover defects and reporting to management.

• Conducting System testing with all known types (Smoke, Regression, Sanity, Integration, etc.).

• Develop test scripts, test plans, procedures and test cases.

• Review Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).

• Analyze software requirements and design documentation.

• Participate in project meetings and use analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to the         quality of the project.

• Preparation of UAT checklist and plan.

• Conducting and managing sessions with different clients.

• Conducting training sessions with the client on delivered products.

• Support and analyze production issues to find the root cause.

• Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver (Med Level).

• API Testing using Postman.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the use of a standard/Agile SDLC methodology, project management tools and techniques in addition to using standard productivity tools.

• 6 years or more of work experience involving quality control and inspection of large software applications using structured approaches and automated tools

• Strong attention to details

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Very Good command of English both spoken and written

• Able to work remotely and collaborate well in a team setting

• Ability to travel inside and outside of Egypt if needed
